Artist, writer, developer of systems, and lover of meaning, Sarah is always looking for the image or metaphor that gives clearer access to the truths we struggle to speak.  In artwork and writing, she tries to reach into the messy spaces, find an intriguing line or shadow to capture or highlight, follow that one to the next and the next and the next, until the whole reveals a beauty or meaning pulled from the chaos.  In her workshops and retreats, Sarah aims to support those around her in looking into their own deep and messy depths with curiosity and compassion and to hold space to celebrate the truths they find there.

When she isn’t covered in paint, Sarah, also a licensed attorney in Alabama and California, is managing a mediation practice in working to return to part-time legal practice in the area of Collaborative Law.
